Florida's first Information Technology (IT) Apprenticeship program

The first of its kind in Broward County, the high schoolers enrolled in the Broward College Postsecondary Adult Vocational Aviation Maintenance program will complete one Federal Aviation Administration certificate, either Airframe or Powerplant, by the time they graduate Miramar High School.

The College recently announced the program and will welcome its first cohort of apprentices this month. Participating employers will work with the College to identify employees who would benefit from additional training and certifications.
